Maximum Energy Burn - High Intensity Boot Camp

With every Boot camp class we focus on interval based training techniques that is great for maximum energy burn and cardiovascular fitness. With all our boot camps, we break Fitmates into groups we call "walkers", "joggers", "runners" and "sprinters".

So for a bit of fun we added a GPS unit to show you what really happens at a Fitstyler Boot camp

Fitmate Kate T

Fitstyler group Sprinter
Total Distance covered:  3.05kms
Average moving speed: 6.8kms
Maximum speed: 17.1km/h
Maximum heartrate 188bpm
Average heartrate 13
Total energy burn: 482 Calories

What this all means is that kate worked extremely
hard during the session.
The high average heartbeat highlights that the rest
periods were kept to a minimum which is supported
by a 6.8km/h moving speed, which is awesome
considering all the  accelerations and
deccelerations,  stopping and starting. Full results

Fitmate Adam T

The results from our client was interesting:
Total Distance covered:  6.4kms
Average speed: 11.3kms
Maximum speed: 18.2km/h
Total energy burn: 600 Calories
The most intersting point is we started recording
5 mintes into the warm up and stopped the
recording after 40 minutes so only a total of
45 minutes of recording.

On previous occasions our clients have recorded
up to 801 calories for guys and 700 calories for girls.
Not a bad effort considering that includes the
warm up, cool down and stretching
