Posture is simply the position that your body adopts, often against the force of gravity. The muscle system, especially the deep back muscles, plays an important role in supporting the spine against gravity. Obviously some postures tend to put more strain in certain areas and this can lead to problems over time.

To say we have pain is pretty simplistic and does not really help us much. The pain system is complex, and just to say have pain does not really help us work out what to do next.

According to studies done, it is said that about 70% of the general population will suffer from low back pain some time in their lives.
Shoulder Pain
Shoulder pain is a surprisingly common problem. Consider how we use our arms to accomplish virtually every daily task that we need to do, and how we need our shoulders to function pain-free so our arms can work as we want. If we suffer from shoulder pain then simple tasks such as reaching to a high cupboard, scratching our backs, or even brushing our hair can become incredibly difficult, and often impossible.
