This is the most stupid thing I have ever seen on a fitness and healt blog. Shouldn’t the animals that we decide to keep get the same opportunity as us to exercise? I have the same breed, that we took over from someone that Supersized him, he was 30 % overweight when we got him at the age of two. He would quite sure got an early death with his previous owners. The dog on the picture is extremely overweight and should be out running on the side of the bike! http://www.springeramerica.com/
But since he is so overweight he should of course first see a vet and get good advice on how to start!!

Hello Norwegian, thank you for the comment, I guess without actually knowing the medical backgroud of the dog, it’s difficult to pass judgement. Maybe the is suffering from a medical condition that precludes it from exercise. The dogs owner is obviously very fit and engages in regular exercise, I would find it surprising if the owner wouldn’t exercise with the dog if this was possible.
If you saw an overweight person in a wheel chair, would you jump to similar conclusions??
