Bruno the beagle update: Way too much food from his owner to the point where Bruno no longer steals my cones from Bootcamp, too much effort

Wednesday, March 18th, 2009

Way to much love and not enough exercise will make Bruno the Beagle a beafy bruno.
I was surprised that Bruno no longer has the energy to steal my cones, now a quick calculation from Bruno dettermined that chasing cones = hard work

Client spots crop circles at park, unfortunately the occurrence of dark green patches of grass was merely formed by the irrigation system

Wednesday, February 18th, 2009

A client spots crop circles at our Melbourne park during our Boot camp session.

Due to our drought conditions, local councils across Victoria have installed irrigation systems to water the trees.
With significantly reduced rainfall, steps have been taken to protect our majestic trees from dying.

The result is the grass covering the underling watering system gets an additional supply of water, leaving “Crop circle” type patterns in the lawn.

So no crop circles to be report at this park in Melbourne.

This morning before commenceing Boot camp in the park, some people recovering from the nite before asked “What is a Booot caaaaammmp”

Talking in her sleep, “may go to Bootcamp”

Friday, January 23rd, 2009

A Fitmate who is a lawyer by day has been working long hours at the office and was going to miss the following mornings Bootcamp.
The Fitmate’s partner who was getting up the following morning at 4.30am for rowing practice noticed some sleep talking from our Fitmate “Where there is an asterix, please amend from -will go to Bootcamp, to -may go to Bootcamp”
Absolute GOLD, at the moment the best quote for the year, may have a prize for the best quote of 2009.

Carbing up or Carbo loading before a fun run

Tuesday, December 16th, 2008

A fitmate who has been with Fitstyler for 18 months has recently completed her first fun run.

Considering that the intensity of her first session was overwhelming and the prospect of running any distance greater than 200 meters a physical impossibility, she has now comfortably completed a 5km fun run.

One point that our Fitmate also found amusing was the need to “carbo” load before the event.

Usually consuming high quantities of carbohydrates are reserved for endurance events, ie over 2 hours in duration.

We admire our Fitmates dettermintion even though her energy balance may have been heavily skewed to a positive outcome after the fun run.
