Guilty of laziness

It’s amazing all the incremental exercise that you can cram into a day.
It’s also amazing how we can get that little too lazy with every day activities.

How often have you circled a carpark in the hope of getting the closest carpark possible to the shops, movies cafe etc when parking no more than 5 minutes away is not an option.
All those little moments of exercise contribute to a healthier lifestyle and more productive fitness habits

Fit Games, plenty of rain

Well done to everyone who braved the heavy rains to take part in our inagural Fit Games.

With a modified program, everyone enjoyed the session with wet clothes and plenty of smiles in hand.

We will be back in February 2008 for take II:)))

Extreme weather conditions

Well within one week we have experienced sweltering temperatures and flash floods (hopefully with some rainfall in the catchment areas)
Well done to everyone who has persevered:))

It’s always challenging with these massive variations in temperature.

Bec reaches 18km on weekend jog

Bec is going from strength to strength travelling a massive 18kms on a weekend run.
Well Bec, that half matathon is only 4 kms longer in distance.

Our 4 month record broken

Well after 4 months of rain free training at Edinburgh Gardens on Tuesday & Thursday nights, it has come to an end.

On Thursday night it rained consistently for the full 60 minutes. We retreated to the heriatge listed grandstand.

To the amusement of a a young couple enjoying the city views while under the watchfull eye of 50 adorning pidgeons, the fitmates trained, while the young couple gave words of encouragement with the odd question “can you show me how to tighten the right butt cheek”

The fitmates finished training and the couple resumed what young couples do and continued to drink vodka & orange while puffing on non police endorsed substances:))
