With people looking for other weight loss solutions, are diet pills & diet supplements bad for your health.

Manufactured by Lovate Health Sciences Inc, the Hydroxycut products, the FDA issued a warning saying some products were linked to liver damage.

With extremely long chemically based ingredients and documented cases of liver damage, sales continue with their re formulated product Hydroxycut Advanced.

With buffed models and claims that it boots your metabolism and burns calories, should such products be allowed to be sold without clinicle trials to:
a. Support the claims
b.Test for possible side effects

Th real question is why are we taking these diet pills or the marketing remastered term weight loss supplements in the first place.

Eating a balanced diet with daily exercise is surely a better solution to diet pills & diet supplements that are potentially bad for your health

We all do it, Eating on the go, eating while driving, eating at the work desk. How often do we multi task to save time, eating has moved to our number one multi task activity behind multi tasking with the mobile phone.
So what’s the problem?
Well our food consumption goes up as we are not really focused on how much we are eating or enjoying the meal. It means that we’re trying to squeeze more into the day, whether it’s being glued to the ofice chair or not giving ourselves any down time.
Our choices become more limited as one hand on the mouse and the other holding a sandwich make for interesting eating habits. Eating highly processed packaged food is an easier option or heading for the vending machine.
Before you know it you have a stash of cookies or biscuits and other yummy food as the lunch time meal morphs into the mid afternoon snack.

Secondly eating while watching TV or watching a movie becomes an activity, once again snack type foods are consumes and a greater amount as we are not monitoring how much we are eating.

While there are genuine times where it may be necessary due to inclement weather conditions, lack of a lunch room or crazy deadlines is taking a 30 minute break that challenging?

A client who lived in Sweden for 2 years observed that it’s considered bad manners to eat any where other than a place designated for eating, ie restaurant, cafe, breakfast table etc.

So while this may be a tricky habit to change, try stopping eating on the go, while driving or at the work desk.

So all you are doing is moving any newly deposited fat to other areas of the body.

There are lots of strategies to lose weight, yet the main thing that requires changing before managing what we place in our mouth or the amount & type of exercise is having the foundations of our mind in place.
A big part of weight loss is nutrition but with nutrition comes a shift in what, how, when, you eat.

If you don’t have the foundations in place your best intentions may quickly spiral back to what is familiar, comfortable and safe.
How can someone possible reduce portion sizes, meal frequency and what you eat when deep down what is driving you hasn’t changed but is merely masked temporarily.

Having the clarity within your thought processes will help keep you on track from “falling of the wagon” so to speak.

You need to surround yourself with positive influences that will help keep you on track to reaching your goals. This includes having a less sedentary lifestyle and removing objects or things that can produce unfavourable habits.
