Why is butter advertised as “reduced salt” yet the ingredients includes salt, I don’t understand why they simply cannot leave the salt out

In an attempt to target consumers, one company has added “reduced salt” as a marketing ploy to attract buyers.

If there was no salt added, or they genuinely took steps to reduce the natural salt content, then surely salt free or reduced salt may be a more appropriate way to market as this company does also sells a plain regular butter product with salt as an added ingredient as well.
