Remember there is always light at the end of the tunnel, if you believe there is more doom & gloom followed by more doom & gloom, chances are you will experience more doom & gloom.
No matter how bad the situation, ask yourself is there a positive or something to be learnt?
Life is all about taking control and not being a victim, believe in yourself and surround yourself with like minded people.

It’s great cooking those exotic Mediterranean or Asian dishes but unfortunately they equate to spending more $$$ on fancy ingredients that we may never use again.
Look at Shrimp Paste, you cannot buy a small amount, it takes a room in the pantry and the chances of ever using again are extremely low.
On the rare occasion we do chances are they are out of date anyway so keep it simple and don’t go crazy.
Remember this will conserve your panrty space so you can store your bulk bought legumes etc.

By having a smaller space in the pantry you will make more informed decisions about your food purchases.
Like any form of consumption, the more space you have, the more space you use.
How often when you move house you find food so old it’s still in imperial, ie ounces and pounds as the units of measurement. Five maybe 10 years past the used by date? Go home today and start clearing out & reducing the pantry shelf space.
Why spend money stocking up on food when it just gathers dust, in reality we often buy on demand these days, we hardly ever rely solely on whats in the cupboard.

One word here, moderation:)))
It’s ok to indulge every now & then but every day can be excessive.
