With Australian worker’s addiction to work getting out of control: 123 Million days of annual leave not taken, the govt has moved to educate

Throw the threat of looming higher unemployment and the result is more work & less play.

In recognition of the negative impacts this is having not only in the work place but for society in general, the Australain Government has released a new initiative called “No leave, No life”
Are you guilty of too much work & not enough play???

While flying to Sydney I recieved packaged sliced apple preserved with an inert gas, great idea but isn’t buying an apple better for planet?
April 18th, 2009While it is great that a natural alternative is availble to snack on, it is not environmentally sustainable. Think about the energy & resources to not only slice the apple and package it accordingly but the transportion & logistics involved.
Surely we can go for the real thing at the fruit section of the supermarket or local green grocer.
I liken it to paying for bottled water, do we really need to add to landfill?
