Believing in yourself leads to Grand Final tickets

Friday, October 1st, 2010

It’s amazing sometimes with what you are thinking about can create opportunities or events you wouldn’t have expected or great things can happen.

Michael our North Fitzroy Fitstyler has been asking the North Fitzroy Fitmates about doing the weekly Thursday 7.15am morning run around Princes Park in Carlton, he has mentioned it on numerous occasions but decided to ask to clients personally on Wednesday morning.

Well this week Adam decided to do the run with Michael, (the first time I may add that a North Fitzroy Fitmate has done the run with Michael) and after a solid pace managed to get a quick lap time.

Later that day Adam called Michael and asked whether he wanted to go to the Grand Final, so whats so remarkable about this, or coincidental,

2.All the times Michael asked Fitmates to run around Princes Park
3.Michael asking Adam personally 3 days before the repeated Grand Final to go running
4.The fact the Adam wasn’t offered tickets to the first Grand Final last week
4.All the events that lead to Adam being in the right spot to be offered 2 tickets himself for premium seats.
5.The fact that Adam couldn’t find a person to sell the ticket to other than Michael.
5.The fact that the Grand Final has only drawn 3 times in over 100 years, the last time was in 1977 with Collingwood and North Melbourne
6.Michael mentioned that as a 12 year old boy that he predicted that in 2010 Collingwood would win the grand final, mmm lets wait until Monday to see if this happens

So while we may not believe in ourselves or what we can achieve, there are others who at either a conscious or sub-conscious level truly believe great things will happen.
Everyday we are confronted with choices about what path we take or direction we travel, by believing in yourself or about goals you wish to achieve can create these opportunities.

Projecting thoughts the laws of attraction and random events accidents

Saturday, June 26th, 2010

After talking to a friend who had a totally random event happen for the second time in their life, a pattern started to emerge that may have seemed a coincidence but was it really?

With concepts like the “the universe” and books like “The Secret” creating some consciousness about the “Laws of attraction” and projecting energy and thoughts, the events that happened to my friend may make some sense.

About 6 months ago, my friend was riding home from work innocently, minding his own business in the late afternoon, the sun was setting on the horizon when “BANG”, a motorist blinded by the glare, lost his view momentarily and not wanting to miss the lights speed up to make a right turn in front of my friend.

The results were a broken collar bone which will require surgery after not showing any improvement in healing naturally.
Well last week, it happened again, while being safely away from the traffic in his house, a totally random event happened, a motorist had a heart attack after returning from the local leisure centre (doing morning laps in the pool) and veared of the road into my friends parked car outside his house.

This time though although there was damage to his car, absolutely no damage to his body.

Mmmmm, so a random event or maybe there is a hidden meaning, it’s open to interpretation but maybe it was something about what thoughts were being projected at the time or over a period of time.
Personally I find this random event super positive, it means that what was ever being projected that had resulted in the body being directly impacted has know lowered in intensity.
My friend may have been walking to his car, been in the car or entering the main flow of traffic, so many possibilities.

While it’s still annoying and inconvenient (And horrific for the driver), it means having to get quotes for the car repair, contacting the insurance companies, getting the car repaired and being without a car while being repaired.
Ironically when I quizzed him about it, this year has had numerous things go wrong with these 2 events just being one of many.

The point being is what ever you want to achieve, whether it’s weight loss, getting more balance in your life between work and life or improving your health and fitness in general, you will keep throwing up these random events that make it difficult to achieve your goals.

Think about people you may know who are going through a financially difficult time, about to lose the house, car, job, no money in the bank then suddenly a random event, the car engine blows up, a fraudulent credit card transaction, the washing machine dies, all these events are really the end results of what is being projected and ultimately what ever you project you attract back into your life.

Well something to think about:)))

Inspirational people Swell season Melbourne

Wednesday, March 31st, 2010

The duo Swell Season played in Melbourne this week, these inspirational people highlights how positive thinking can create great things if you truly believe.

If you belive, have positive thoughts, anything can happen

Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova came from nowhere to star in a small budget film that went on to win grammy Award for the movie Once.

The most spectacular thing is that Spell Season are not back by a recored company, Tour Company, band Manager or the usual entourage that follows rock stars.
Rather there belief in their music and commitment to their craft has won universal support from their legion of fans around the world.

The Palais Theatre in St Kilda Melbourne was filled to capacity yet from the exterior of the building you would never even realise that they were playing, no posters or signage as the booking for the venue was done by themselves.

Like many things in life, you can achieve whatever you won’t, whether it’s weight loss or achieving a healthier lifestyle, its all about projecting positive thoughts and believing in yourself.

When projecting your thoughts, the energy is projected into the universe and great things can happen. Just before Christmas I was meeting some friends for

When projecting your thoughts, the energy is projected into the universe and great things can happen.
Just before Christmas I was meeting some friends for an early morning breakfast at a cafe when I received a call on my mobile that she had a flat pram tyre.

Knowing that I was a cyclist, she thought I may have a pump in the car. Well a person walking past overheard the phone conversation and being familiar with the pram model suggested that she use the pump that was hidden under the main carriage.

The really amazing thing was this was that this was at 8.00am at The Melbourne Tan where apart from joggers there was nobody around.

So who would have believed by just thinking about needing a tyre pump on a subconscious level would attract the right person to provide assistance.
It’s all about having a positive attitude and believing that everything will be ok.

If you Project positive thoughts, you will receive positive outcomes. Getting food poisoning led to a sequence of events to buy a video camera below cost

Thursday, December 17th, 2009

What we are thinking can have positive outcomes based on what our mind is projecting.
Who would have thought a bad case of food poisoning would lead me to buying the video camera I wanted but couldn’t afford.

Imagine projecting positive thoughts about being healthier and happier with your life.

After eating some sushi with chicken on Monday, yes it’s the Australianised version, I contracted food poisoning with the associated headache, rise in body temperature and exhaling of the stomach contents at 2am. (that will teach me for eating something that is otherwise healthy without the fried chicken)
Fortunately I wasn’t running a bootcamp the following day so after a sleep in on Tuesday and a late start in the office, I struggled through the morning and left for home in the early afternoon to recuperate.

After a snooze, I woke up at 6pm and decided to catch up on some overdue reading, starting with Fridays paper I noticed an advertisement from one of our largest retailers promoting a giant 4 day sale.
I never read these sales ads as I’m not a very good consumer, so there it was, my preferred video camera $500 below RRP and $250 below the cheapest price I was quoted.
Mmm, problem, day 5 equals no special price.
The day before, a friend mentioned he could buy the camera just above the wholesale price through a mate who worked at an electrical discounter.

Wednesday morning, I ran the bootcamps as normal and headed to the office and found out the special price from my mate’s supplier is $300 below RRP.
Well I rang up the large Australian retailer, visualising the camera there, that the price will still be honoured and it will be the demo floor stock model and upon arriving at the store, the salesman I spoke to will be told off for honoring the price.

So guess what, all of the above happened, I received my floor stock camera at the advertised price and the salesman was told off but I still received the camera.

There was a study performed by a Japanese scientist who conducted an experiment to determine whether projecting thoughts or speech will effect the structure of water crystals.
The experiment was successful.

So if you are looking to make some changes in your life, start with what you are projecting, be it for weight loss or a healthier lifestyle, with the belief you can achieve anything in life.
