Rare sighting in park – Giant mango

Wednesday, October 27th, 2010

Well I have seen it all, last night at Boot camp I came across this giant Mango.

Giant mango at rotunda in Melbourne park

Well our local park at Edinburgh Gardens has been awarded the best park to chill out and enjoy the warmer weather in Melbourne according to The Age newspaper on the weekend.

Fortunately in the Southern hemisphere we are now approaching summer which means all of this yummy tropical fruit is now in season, apart from mango’s, there are pineapples, paw paw and the not so tropical watermelon which is as equally as yummy.

If you are looking for the ultimate fruit juice, juice 3 mango’s and 1 pineapple together for the most divine fruit juice you will ever taste, a big call but true.

Sometimes you come across very random stuff, in this case 5 girls were enjoying the fruits of their new found friend, a giant mango.

Abandoned guitar found Melbourne park

Friday, March 12th, 2010

This morning at our Melbourne Bootcamp, I came across this abandoned guitar just after sunrise.

Mmm, I have seen some interesting things in the park, but never have I found something as valuable as a guitar even though it did look a little worse for wear with dents and scratches.

Came across this alone guitar in our Melbourne park at Bootcamp in morning

Hopefully the owner will make the journey back to this Melbourne Park at Edinburgh Gardens to reunite the guitar with it’s rightful owner.

Strange Public Art sculpture in the park in Melbourne this morning at boot camp. Was it put there by aliens or

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009

This morning at boot camp there was a Strange Public Art sculpture in the park in Melbourne.

It made for interesting discussion, was it put there by aliens or some weird form of crop circles. More suspiciously was a black plastic garbage bag placed nearby. Nobody was game enough to investigate, was it a hidden camera inside or just maybe an empty garbage bag with dog poo inside, we will never know.

So maybe we will never know the origin of the Strange Public Art sculpture at our park in Melbourne.
