65 km Mountain Bike Route
An off-road adventure on quiet back roads and trails taking in the Wombat State Forest. Test your MTB mettle on parts of this scenic route. Smell the peppermints and keep an eye out for koalas! Enjoy being away from the traffic on this ramble along roads and bush tracks. Passing through Firth Park.

Fitness needed and ride rating
Not a ride for the weak-kneed! This route is quite long in mountain biking terms so come nice and fit and enjoy plenty of ups and downs on a variety of surfaces. Be prepared for everything! Knobbies a must. Rated a medium hard ride

110km Road Route
A classic sealed road route including a glimpse of Hanging Rock and the Cobaw State Forest. An ideal mixture of climbs and sweeping descents with great views on quiet roads. All sealed roads. Lunch stop and midway point at Pyalong.

Fitness needed and ride rating
No torturous hills but enough climbing to keep you honest. A solid day's ride that will suit those who have a degree of fitness and like to spend a fair bit of the day in the saddle. Definitely more challenging than a doddle down Beach Road! Rated a medium hard ride given its distance and the hills involved.

60km Road Route
All sealed roads. Pedal through these rolling hills featuring open bushland and stunning granite outcrops. Enjoy quiet country roads, space and the fresh air!
Take your time and enjoy the riding for its own sake or stop at the odd winery or antique shop along the way. This pleasant country ramble gives you a glimpse of Hanging Rock. Lunch stop and midway point at Lancefield.

Fitness needed and ride rating

If you have enjoyed riding on bike paths around town or on rail trails but are looking to go that next step then the 60km ride is for you. Obviously the fitter you are the more you will enjoy the ride and the quicker you will recover. You do not need to be an elite sportsperson to take part in this route but it would help if you are used to riding for a few hours at a time. No mountains to climb on this route but certainly a few undulations. A medium ride that could be whipped around in a matter of hours or else savoured all day long.
