Marysville - Lake Mountain Fire Relief Ride 2009 Relief Effort Hits Road

Five time Olympian Shane Kelly will lead 3000 cyclists through mountains devastated on Black Saturday.

 The Marysville to Lake Mountain Fire Relief Ride will occur on May 2 to raise  money and encourage Victorians to return to the area.

A $25 donation from each entry will go to the Victorian Bushfire Appeal Fund. 
"Its an honour to be the event ambassador, and it's great to see cycling playing a part," Kelly said.

CycleSport Victoria general manager David Code said there were two courses, one of 66km and one of 140km.
