Situated in the golden triangle of Victoria's goldfields, Kyneton is fast becoming a cultural and arts hub. As you walk down Piper Street, you can’t help but become immersed in the creativity of the local precinct.

A lot of people fed up with the cost and congestion of Melbourne and looking for something better decided to go for a tree change, By setting up house in beautiful rural Victoria they have helped re-energise many once declining towns, such as Kyneton.

Today, thanks to the Calder freeway extension Kyneton is a leisurely 60-80 minutes drive from the CBD, nothing too unfamiliar for those who make the daily commute to work while stuck in traffic – but without the traffic!
So, get up there and enjoy the open spaces, clean air, revitalised cultural activities and delicious food available at the cafes and restaurants that support local fruit and veggie growers.

At the Kyneton farmers market you’ll find fantastic produce including the old school varieties of jams, chutneys and preserves - it's well worth the trip.

Enjoy the historical buildings and original streetscape of this 19th century village – a great alternative to Daylesford which is even favoured by locals.
