Visit Geelong for a day
With this amazing spring weather why not take the opportunity to head on down to Geelong and experience the many attractions on offer.
Geelong was recently at the centre of the UCI World Road Cycling Championships, an event that was broadcast to a global audience of over 100 million viewers, and provided the inspiration to want to see what the rest of the world had already got a good look at!

With views out to Corio bay along the waterfront and the beautiful Geelong Botanical Gardens just a short walk from the town centre, it’s well worth the 50 minute drive.
Once there you can take a joy flight over Victoria's rugged coastline from Angelsea to Apollo Bay or immerse yourself in the city’s rich agricultural history on display at the many museums and historic buildings that date back to the 1870s.
With plenty to do on the exercise front, take in one of the many walks exporing the history or cultural diversity of the many public art installations.
You can also pop your bicycle on the train and join the old railway trail meandering along the Bellarine Peninsula, taking in the towns of Leopold, Curlewis and Drysdale culminating at the historic village of Queenscliff a leisurely 32kms later.
