Thanks for deciding to take part in one of Australia’s biggest fundraising events that’s also heaps of fun…World’s Greatest Shave (WGS)! This site will help you organise your WGS event, whether you’re organising a big, group event or it’s just you and a couple of friends.

The most important thing is for you to have fun and raise as much money as possible for the Leukaemia Foundation along the way. We’ve included lots of information on this site to help you achieve this.

Your involvement in WGS will enable the Leukaemia Foundation to continue to support patients and families living with leukaemias, lymphomas, myeloma and related blood disorders. The Foundation provides free support services including:

Information and resources
Education and support programs
Transportation to and from treatment
‘home away from home’ accommodation close to major hospitals
Practical assistance
Emotional support/counselling
The Leukaemia Foundation funds cutting edge research into better treatments and cures through its National Research Program.

The Foundation also funds research grants, scholarships and fellowships to promote innovative research into the causes, diagnosis and treatment of these cancers and related disorders.

It’s fun, for a good cause and open to all ages.

Whats involved?

1.Decide if you want to shave, colour, wax on or wax off!

2.Choose whether you're 'going it alone' or if a group of you will take part together.

3.Decide when and where you're going to shave.

4.Register with the Leukaemia Foundation.

5.Collect sponsorship.

6.Pay in the money you raise.
