Daffodil Day 2007
When:
Fri 24 Aug 2007
Daffodil Day aims to deliver a message that will change attitudes about cancer and give hope and support to all those touched by the disease.

What is Daffodil Day?The Cancer Council's Daffodil Day is the largest merchandise based national fundraising event of its kind for cancer research, education, and patient support in the Southern Hemisphere. The event had its beginnings in Canada around 30 years ago and is now held in eight countries including the UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, New Zealand, Denmark and Australia.  It is a day to remember people touched by cancer, a day to celebrate survivorship and to hope for a brighter future.

The daffodil is the international symbol of hope for all those affected by cancer.

How Can You Help?

1. Order and sell merchandise to your friends, family or in the workplace throughout August.
2. Volunteer to sell merchandise at one of our stalls on Daffodil Day
3. Buy fresh daffodils or Daffodil Day merchandise

Aiming for $8m

By purchasing a daffodil or other item in memory of a loved one, to celebrate a survivor, or to simply give hope for a brighter future, you can help Australia's leading cancer charity reach its fundraising target of more than $8 million.
