What is involved


The Feed zone
- Well marked and marshaled race courses

- Fully supported feed zones with food and water for all riders
- Mechanical support at feed zones for minor repairs
- More food for each rider when they finish

There are 2 feed zones on the course which provide everything a rider needs to complete their chosen distance.  In the full length course you pass each feed zone twice giving you support approximately every 20kms.  The medium marathon has 3 feed zone stops with 2 of them at the first feed zone, again approximately every 20kms.  The short marathon only passes feed zone 1 at just over the half way point.  See the course map for exact locations and distances to each.
Each feed zone offers:

Water (750mm bottle full and ready for you to pick up and put in your bottle cage, facility to fill your own bottle or camel back if needed)Variety of fruit for a quick feed, high in energyBread/cake for some important carbsEnergy gel
Mechanical support for minor repairs like puncture or gear adjustment
