Im the first to admit, that when I started bootcamp,
I never would've believed that I would enjoy it so much or that
I would see such a change in my body.
People who I haven't seen in a while always comment on how much
I have changed physically and I have certainly noticed a change in
myself and my fitness levels.
I haven't really lost a lot of weight, but I have definitely lost inches,
my only regret is that I wish I had measured myself at the start!
Trousers and skirts are definitely a lot looser which is always good!
Bootcamp itself is hard work.
There are times during the sessions that I do want to give up,
usually when running up the stairs at the grandstand
(Andrew that does not give you an excuse to make us do this
on Saturday).
What I do love though is the interaction with everyone at the group,
especially with my arch rival, Liza...........
We are all at different levels which spurs everyone on,
but it never feels that one person is ever lagging behind or that one
person is steaming on ahead.
I have recently come back from the UK after having 5 weeks off
bootcamp and Megan regularly kept me up to date with texts after
bootcamp letting me know how everyone was, it was certainly weird
not being there in the thick of things and I missed it.
Physically, when I went back to England, I probably felt better than I had
in years. I didn't do much exercise whilst I was away, just eating and
drinking and I managed to only put on half a kilo (it was a miracle),
but my trousers were definitely tighter.
It was probably a case of all the muscle that had started to develop
turning back to fat ;0( Im hoping that it wont take too long to get it all back again.
In a way, im glad I had a break, it was like a before and after shot for me
and it made me realise just how good the sessions really are.
If anyone was to ask, I would definitely recommend Andrew's Fitstyler
sessions. If I can do it, anyone can. Its all to do with perseverance and
a little self belief.
